UMA holds prayers for fallen musicians

Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) has this Wednesday held prayers for their fallen comrades.

The candle lighting mass was held at Lubaga Cathedral.

Top musicians in the land attended the prayers.

UMA president Cindy Sanyu and Uganda Culture Forum ED Dan Kazibwe aka Ragga Dee thanked musicians and other attendees for the spirit of togetherness and one love.

The musicians were further urged to spare time off their busy schedule and look for God because they pass through many risks to entertain their fans across the country.

UMA together with organizing partners Uganda Funeral Services will continue to work on various activities aimed at safeguarding the artists and creating a partnership in times of sorrow.

A host of musicians have died in the recent and far past. They include More Radio, Ak-47, Martin Angume, Philly Bongoley Lutaaya, Herman Basudde among so many others.
