Senior lifestyle editor Moses Serugo has been axed from New Vision after a number of reporters and interns under his supervision accused him of mistreatment.
The Human Resource office at the Industrial Area based media house has had several complaints of mistreatment against Serugo.
We cannot confirm what kind of mistreatment he has been inflicting on his surbodinates.
But his sacking comes three months after it was widely reported that a senior male lifestyle journalist at one of the leading media houses in Uganda has been filmed sodomizing a fellow man, an intern, at the company premises.
The randy couple was captured on CCTV.
It was further reported that over the years, this senior scribe had always been rumored to be gay. The recorded film was the first time the fella had been filmed bombarding his junior’s behind.
And now our sources at New Vision tell us Serugo was given notice three months ago.
He officially left the company last week after three months elapsed.
We cannot confirm if he (Serugo) is the rumored molester or if his firing is just a coincidence.
